vh1.com reports that rap phenom eve has signed a development deal with the upn television network to star in her own sitcom. the show, which will be produced by eve, kenneth edmonds, tracey edmonds, eve's manager troy carter and show writer bentley evans, will star the philly rapstress as a new york fashion designer. previous acting credits include a lead role in 2002's barbershop, and supporting roles in the vin diesel action film xxx and television's third watch.
